General Terms and Conditions of Use and Participation — Fit For ASBL
Purpose
These general terms and conditions govern the relationship between Fit For ASBL and its members, participants, website users, and, more broadly, any person taking part in its activities.
These conditions cover:
- Participation and access to all activities
- Payment, cancellation, and late fees
- Liability of the parties involved
- Data protection, confidentiality, and the use of cookies
- Applicable law and legal jurisdiction

In case of any conflict between these general terms and any service agreement or mission letter, the provisions of the mission letter shall prevail. Any derogation must be expressly agreed in writing.
Participation and Access to Activities
Participation in any activity organized by the ASBL implies acceptance without reservation of these general terms and the internal regulations.
Eligibility requirements:
- Membership dues must be paid up to date via the participant's affiliated structure.
- A medical fitness certificate, issued within the last twelve months, must be provided and renewed annually. In addition, each new participant is required to complete a health questionnaire. Participants are expected to answer all questions accurately and truthfully. If a participant provides false, incomplete, or misleading information regarding their health, the responsibility for any resulting risks or consequences lies entirely with the participant, and Fit For declines all liability.
- FitForTaekwondo declines liability in the event of negligence or mismanagement by the member's affiliated structure.
Conduct of Activities
- Activities are supervised by qualified professionals legally recognized in Europe.
- Participants agree to follow instructors' guidance, wear appropriate sports attire, and show respect toward fellow members and staff.
Health, Safety, and Hygiene
- Each participant is solely responsible for their own health and safety.
- In case of doubt regarding medical condition, it is strongly advised to consult a doctor before participating.
- A medical fitness certificate, issued within the last twelve months, must be provided and renewed annually. In addition, each new participant is required to complete a health questionnaire. Participants are expected to answer all questions accurately and truthfully. If a participant provides false, incomplete, or misleading information regarding their health, the responsibility for any resulting risks or consequences lies entirely with the participant, and Fit For declines all liability.
- FitForTaekwondo declines liability in the event of negligence or mismanagement by the member's affiliated structure.
- Admission may be refused or adapted in cases of contagious illness, injury incompatible with sports activity, or non-compliance with hygiene standards.
Liability
- The ASBL is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings in the facilities.
- Any dangerous, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate exclusion without compensation.
Payment, Cancellation, and Late Fees
- Services are invoiced monthly: at the end of the month for clubs and at the beginning of the month for individual members.
- Payments must be made at the beginning of the following month upon receipt of the invoice.
- Sessions not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance remain due, unless justified by force majeure.
Late payment conditions
In the event of late payment, a default interest rate of 1% per month commenced may be applied to the outstanding balance for professional clients. A fixed recovery fee of 10% of the invoice amount, with a minimum charge of €40, may also be claimed.
For consumers, the first reminder is free of charge and grants a 14-day period to settle the payment. After this period, reminder fees of €7.50 per additional reminder may be applied.
Late payment compensation will not exceed the legal limits currently in force:
- €20 for debts up to €150;
- €30 + 10% of the portion exceeding €150 for debts between €150 and €500;
- €65 + 5% of the portion exceeding €500 (capped at €2,000) for debts above €500.
Privacy, Data Protection, and Cookies
The personal data collected by the ASBL (identity, contact details, medical certificates, payment information, etc.) are processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679).
7.1 Purpose of Data Processing
Data is used only for:
- Administrative and accounting management of members
- Organization and scheduling of activities
- Internal communication (updates, events, reminders)
- Compliance with legal and tax obligations
7.2 Data Retention and Security
- Data is retained only as long as necessary for the stated purposes.
- FitFor implements technical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of the information.
7.3 Members' Rights
In accordance with GDPR, members have the right to:
- Access and rectify their personal data
- Request erasure or restriction of processing
- Object to processing or exercise data portability rights

7.4 Cookies and Website Usage
